Welcome

The Autumn in Malvern Festival is a renowned series of artistic events held annually in the surroundings of the glorious Malvern hills. Some of the most prestigious musicians, poets, writers, film makers and other artists perform during October every year.

Programme of Events

The full festival programme has now been announced by the Artistic Director. You can also request a brochure. This year's programme will include:

The St. Petersburg String Quartet
Aldwyn Voices
Andrew Motion - Poet Laureate.
John Bridcut - Writer & film-maker
John Scott-Whiteley - Organist at York Minster
Miriam Kramer - Critically acclaimed concert violinist
Nicholas Cleobury - One of Britain's most acclaimed conductors
Tim Heath - Playwright
Diana McVeagh - Distinguished biographer
Pamela Hurle - Eminent historian
Roy Palmer - Writer & broadcaster
Merryn Williams
Alison Bevan - Director of Penlee House Gallery & Museum

For four of the main events: European Union Chamber Orchestra, St. Petersburg String Quartet, John Scott-Whiteley & Aldwyn Voices, there are free tickets for up to two young (8-18yrs) people when accompanied by a ticket purchasing adult. Tickets will be available from the Malvern Theatres on 01684 892277 from Monday 4th August 2008.
